My 13 year old niece has a bald spot on the crown of her head, the result of an illness. She is extremely self conscious about it. I found Nancy online, and she was extremely flexible with her scheduling. She was very professional, and extremely knowledgeable and patiently answered all 99 questions I asked… And the hair was FABULOUS. My niece looked and felt great, and looked and felt great for weeks. I spoke with her several times on the phone before our appointment – she answered every time and give me the time I needed(I did not feel rushed). So before I walked in she made me feel comfortable. I called Nancy on a Saturday explaining that my daughter was scheduled to have an audition on the upcoming Tuesday. She scheduled her in that Sunday. Nancy not only did an amazing job on my daughter’s hair, visiting with her made our trip from CT to Boston even better like spending a couple of hours with a very good friend. I burned my hair badly with an overheated curling iron about 6 months ago and Nancy came to my rescue. The extensions were a high quality and they lasted longer than I imagined they would having never had extensions before. I don’t know why I keep forgetting this but you get what you pay for. If you want high quality extensions or weave done by a true professional, this is who you go to in the Boston area. She has done lots of celebrity hair in Boston and Atlanta so you are definitely in the best hands. She’s been doing my weaves since I was in college and sometimes I get tempted to get the cheap weaves to save money but I always regret it and come back to her. She uses a special technique to protect your hair, edges and promote growth since she’s looking at the bigger picture for you, unlike most hairdressers who will braid your hair too tightly and leave you with no edges in the long run. She also specializes in hair loss patients so she is very sensitive with your hair. The first time I went to her, I had a bald patch from bad hair practices and she provided a private appointment where I felt secure uncovering my hair. She’s truly a hair doctor. I invest in good quality hair so it would be quite a waste to have it installed by someone unprofessional where the hairstyle won’t last. She’s also great with cutting and layering unlike all these other ‘weaveologists’ who didn’t even go to school for it. She shapes the hair to your face for the most natural look. She’s amazing!
